Notes:

Down the Harpswell Peninsula the skies get quite dark (nearly Bortle class 3). Additionally, Mitchell Field has a panoramic and unobstructed view of the sky. Together, these things probably make this viewing site the best of all we will visit in 2024. It is appropriate then that our theme will be preserving dark Maine skies.
